Pretty much this. His best line to work with in Baertschi/Monahan/Stempniak. He doesn't have a goalie. They're learning. They've lost leads to two teams with elite players who asserted themselves against a young, inexperienced club. This is a process.
Hartley is the man until they stop playing hard for him.
