He is inconsistent, yes. Sorry he's not Sidney Crosby, but not everyone can be.
He took a serious hometown discount for this team and has been on pace for well over 30 goals the last two seasons.
He may take the odd frustrating penalty, but he does far more good for this team than he does bad. He's a good hockey player.
