Yeah, I do question it.
What would be the point of shooting down the plane when it is that close to the building? So close that the missile, in theory, penetrated two rings? I just don't buy it.
As for the general idea of the US scrambling F-16's to shoot down hijacked planes, I think that's exactly what they should've done. I don't get why people have a hard time with that course of action either.
As for the movie, it's kind of like "The Passion". I go to the movies to be entertained or to 'hear' a great story. "The Passion" was not entertaining and in fact it was depressing. I would imagine this is as well.
For the record, I didn't know they found wreckage a mile a way on Flight 93. The crash site looks a lot like the one in Colorado Springs several years ago. Nose dive straight into the ground, in tact. Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme.
