Hopefully 9th place is exactly what David Moyes is comfortable with. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I certainly don't think it will be a sudden crazy fall out of the top 6, or even top 4 for United. I do think that Moyes was a very wrong appointment for them, though. The hierarchy at Old Trafford seemingly decided that stability in the manager's position was the most important thing. I don't think the combination of stability and success under Ferguson is something that's easy to achieve, and I definitely do not think that Moyes is up to the task. He's in quite over his head. Not much different from Hodgson at Liverpool.
