I commented on Colborne and want to be clear on one thing. I'm not ragging on him so much as the decision by management to bring him in over players that battled it out at camp. What's done is done and he's here, so we'll give him time. In that respect I agree with your comments about giving him time to learn the system and get some more practices under his belt.
But I don't agree with your conditioning comment: forget looking slow in comparison to his teammates, he looked slow in comparison to the Blue Jacket players. That's on him.
