Not for nothing, but a lot of posters are saying we need to give the team a break because of all the young players, well really the Flames are still essentially a veteran team. The only players in tonight's game most wouldn't consider veterans would be Baertschi, Monahan, Brodie, and Bouma. I guess some might say it also applies to Street or Galiardi, but one is already 26, and the other has played 222 games in the NHL. Compare that to the Capitals who had more players under the age of 25 in the lineup, most of which could be big pieces of the Capitals future (Holtby, Johansson, Carlson, and Wilson). We're making baby steps, but hopefully they find a way to get more young guys into the lineup as the season goes by.
