Ya. Fact is the Flames have a lot of guys in that situation. Brodie and Gio aren't top pairing guys. Russel likely isn't a 2nd pairing guy. Glencross is the best 3rd liner in the league and a solid 2nd liner. He's not a top line guy. Same with Stempniak, Stajan and Backlund.
Lots of patience required this season. Effort, development and improvement are key. Wins are gravy, IMO.
This morning, everyone would be thrilled to be in this situation - tied with the Capitals late in the 3rd. The Caps are a better team.
