I'm just a little confused as to what Conroy meant when he said there were some guys they were 'watching' that may become available on the waiver wire. We've seen Corrente and Urbom, players that you would think that the Flames would be interested in given their physical play go on waivers and were passed over. Would really like to know what Conny meant by that statement, like were they making bets on who would be going on waivers or are they actually interested in players that they think would be going on waivers? From what I can see, there doesn't appear to be much more else on other teams rosters (apart from perhaps another player from NJ, who still need to do something once Tedenby is cleared from his bogus injury). But even then, are these guys that hit waivers deemed an upgrade on what we already have? Confusing messages out there for sure.
