Burke is just telling it like it is - Baertschi is a small skilled player drafted in the first round and needs to prove that he belongs in this league. The team got rid of Iggy because everyone says he's too frickin old to play in Calgary. So, now Sven is two years older and wants to crack this new lineup that he's been given a chance. Everyone, before this season thinks that he is a replacement for guys like Iggy (FFS!!!). Hey, this ain't no frickin minor league where you can just waltz in with a bit of skill. It's either you prove it or GTFO. IMHO, Baertschi can end up like another Fata or Domichelli in this league. If Sven was 6'5", this thread won't even exist!
