The comments yesterday about the team hanging out together off-ice gives me some optimism for the year, though.

I was watching Chicago, Washington game the other day, Chicago, they are fast and relentless, every shift they have the puck they head to the opposition net as if they are going to score. They have this pack mentality that they are expected to win and play like there is no looking back. If our young guys can play with lots of speed and play an inspired team game get on some nice winning streaks they believe in themselves they could do some damage. We absolutely can't have guys standing around or taking nights off if they want to build a winning culture. I believe under the right situation this team can make the playoffs and what a better way to show Edmonton that we won't make excuses for losing.
