Joke organization is such a joke.
Over valuing their players hard, once again. Just like their fanbase, this is the front office's way of ramping up the hype and delusions prior to another season, instead of thinking with their heads straight.
I'd like to name all my favorite young players assistants too, but I wouldn't, because that's a patch you have to earn in this league. And it's not earned with hype or raw talent, but by being a difference maker. By emerging as a true leader on the team. They just pamper their kids, throw A's on them all, instead of doing what Burke just did to our "top" young player. Until they prove that they can produce more than stats, but actually help the team in all zones and be a net positive impact and advancing that team to a sorely needed playoff berth, then I'd hold on to those patches until they can really prove their worth as leaders.
