I like how about 5 people on this forum are now psychology professors with a masters in body language.

I think people are reading way to much into this, and Baertschi will shut just about everyone up by the end of October. I think his talent will prevail, and will be noticably one of the top 5 forwards if not players on the Flames (with Cammy, Glencross, Backlund, Brodie)

As for these comments about "a friend of a friend of mine" knows what is going on with Baertschi... I will take that with a grain of salt. Some of it might be frustration with how he is playing, as he is used to being the star, some of it might be a cultural thing Swiss are a very hard working high achieving nation (Neiderettier experienced the same type of thing in NY), and Baertschi is not moving up as fast as he would like. Not to mention that he seemed like a quiet guy from the start. He may still just be quiet and not pouting. There are many different variables that I do not know so I am not going to speculate any further.

Let's just let the first month of the season speak for itself, rather then this pointless speculation as to what Baertschi is thinking and what the reasoning was for Burkes comments (kick in the ass/tough love, or this guy is going to be traded).

There is a reason I watch hockey and not the Bachelor, I like watching competition, not gossiping about drama.
