They still need some of their prospects to join the team soon (De Haan, Strome, Kabanov) but that is a team headed in the right direction with a ton of money to burn. Goaltending needs to be sorted out long term after Nabokov, so there is a hole to fill. Still, John Tavares at 5.5 million is an absolute steal.

Since Snow took over as GM he has not been as bad as most think he would be. He has made some good trades and great waiver wire pick ups. You also have to realise that he works for the "Willy Wonka" of NHL owners. Wang is a guy who does not like to spend a penny over cap floor. Hell one year Snow had no choice but to put Nino on the roster when he was nowhere ready just because Wang would not pony up to get the team to the cap floor.
