This is your insight only on this matter. Maybe, according to the hockey professionals and coaches felt that since Horak isn't anything too special that he can be replaced with Colborne without them competing against each other, goes to show that Colborne indeed brings an element this team is lacking! Size and strength down the middle.
If he doesn't do something with this opportunity that Burke is giving him, he will be that 13th forward sitting in the press box fairly soon.
We haven't seen the last of Horak, most likely first call up.
Horak is in a good spot. His contract allows him to be the easy call up this season and likely the first one. He can play loads in Abby and them get 3rd line mins for the flames if he performs.
He better get close to 1ppg though.
