Default GAME 13 : Stampeders vs TigerCats in Guelph

GAME TIME : Saturday, September 28th 4pm MDT at Alumni Stadium in Guelph, Ontario
Televised : TSN, ESPN3

Second time in 3 weeks that Stampeders plays Hamilton. Hamilton QB Henry Burris passes for 408 yards and also passed the 50,000 passing yards in his CFL career the last time these two teams played against each other in Calgary.

Calgary played a not so impressive game on last week's lost to Toronto Argonauts. Penalty troubles and inconsistent offense and defense cost them the game last week. I am sure we will see a different Stampeder team tomorrow.

OFFENSE:

Offense was so inconsistent last week from QB Kevin Glenn to OLine and receivers. The two new receivers was not a factor at all. RB Jon Cornish I thought played well considering the OLine didn't give him much space. He rushes 16 times for 81 yards and catches for 23 receiving yards. R Marquay McDaniel was the most consistent receiver for the Stamps. He caught 6 for 87 yards and 1 TD. Against Hamilton, he was 5 for 65 yards and 1 TD. R Jabari Arthur caught the most passes last week 7 for 68 yards.

DEFENSE :

Defense especially the secondary needs to play a more consistent game. I think Hamilton will launch an aerial attack tomorrow with Burris utilizing Andy Fantuz who had a great game against Stamps last time (6 for 96 yards and some impossible catch).

Front Seven also need to go back to pressuring QB. Last game Hughes got frustrated with one of Hamilton's OLine early in the game but came back gunning for Burris late in the game.

SPECIAL TEAM :

I think special team are starting to play better and their coverage and blocking are much improved the last two games. Larry Taylor also been having good games in the last 2 weeks. Taylor had 242 all-purpose yards last week.
