No, you said, explicitly, that the absence of this in the contract might make the contract invalid. And I'm saying that's nuts. If you have an agreement for services and you don't put a price for those services into the contract, that might make it invalid. The GST number absolutely will not.

GST works entirely differently for real estate. Depending on whether one or both parties are registrants the onus for withholding GST can shift to the seller.
