I am also quite looking forward to this one. Cheney is a pretty sly old fox (but he's also fat, so that might slow him down
) but Edwards seems to be fairly clever in his own right.
Yeah it's lame and shouldn't be taken into consideration but appearances most definitely do matter. Dick Cheney looks like he was probably about 50 when Edwards was born, even though he was only 12. I just learned that and I am quite surprised.
Unfortunately (for the side I'm rooting for) Cheney has probably had it beaten into him to not act like a harrumphing 8 year-old when his rival is talking (George missed the lesson apparently). If Edwards can get him flustered (which I don't think will happen) then it's all over. The visual of that "young" slickster p*ssing off the old geezer will be a real bad thing for the Republican side.
