One thing the people fail to realize this thing has been boiling for 3 years between Gomez and Maholm, it just didn't start in June. It is also interesting to note that one of the other guys who got drilled was Hart who had homered off Maholm in the first inning that night in 2010, those haven't done anything stupid with facing each other since. Fast forward to June of this year, Maholm hits Gomez yet another time, leading to the events of last night. Coincidence for what happened in Atlanta last night? I don't think so. Gomez sure did like act like a jackass though.
Anyway just disgusting how awful the Braves have played against clubs that are barely 500 clubs the last two weeks. They are either barely losing to them because they can't hit or they barely win against bad bullpens.
