Now, I'm not suggesting he won't develop back in the CHL either but this risk losing a year of his ELC is way over blown on this forum.

It's more the fact that I feel kids his age need as much ice time as they can get in their developmental years and I'm not sure how much he will get at times this year if he sticks. We have seen Hartley isn't the type of coach that will let young players play through funks and I don't think he's going to give any preferential treatment to any of these kids.
