Warrener on the fan this AM surprised me when he said "Scott went after the right guy, why would he waste his time with another enforcer"...which coming from a guy like him who played the game the way he did is a bit stunning. he went on to explain his reasoning and it was hard to argue actually...though i still dont think a guy like Kessel should ever have to actually drop the gloves...just skate away from the guy if need be, but dont start with the nonsense of swinging sticks wildly.

Kessell has an in-person hearing with Shanahan later today apparently.

If Warrener said that then he needs to get treated for post-concussion syndrome. That's the stupidest statement yet. I would be fascinated to hear his justification for it. Was Tropp some sort of star player that I wasn't aware of? Totally confused by this.
