Pylon in the WHL? Maybe you are talking about a different prospect??

Kanzig had a rough first year in the WHL, but became a top pairing defender in his second year.

Proof of Kanzig’s contention could come in the fact he was named to Team Pacific — a squad made up of players from Alberta and B.C. — for the World Under-17 Challenge during the 2012 Christmas season.
It’s not like a blueliner was added to that team if he was just a thug

A huge defenceman," Button said that night at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., "but the first thing we noticed about him? We thought he understood the game very well and that he had high character, high intangibles. Off the ice leadership. On the ice leadership. He's a great teammate. For us, it was an area we talked about - getting rough and tumble on the back-end - but he's got a good brain, too.

Kanzig’s style is very one-dimensional. He is a beast in the defensive zone, but makes little to no impact outside his own blueline
Someone that is called a 'beast defensively' by a notable amateur scouting service does not equate with your term of 'plyon'. He looked even better than most here anticipated him to look throughout his rookie camp, prospect camp and even in the pre-season. For a defencemen just drafted out of the CHL months ago, he looked pretty damn impressive. Mistakes thus far? You bet! But a pylon? Seriously?
