To name a few. Basically It's been a feature catch up game for iOS this last update. Owning devices from both companies it's frustrating to use my iPad because everything is locked down, though the app selection is nice.
- Vendor agnostic... I can select which hardware vendor I want
- Background setting and live wallpapers
- Widgets so I don't have to open apps to see whats going on
- Lockscreen patterns
- Lockscreen widgets, not forced go through iTunes
- Lockscreen notification (years before iOS)
- Toggles (years before iOS)
- Pattern unlock
- Facial recognition
- Multitasking (years before iOS)
- Google services syncing
- Core functionality replacement and customization i.e. (I can replace keyboards I don't like, I can customize what color of LED I get for which notification, I can customize which default browser I want)
- Google play music and cloud support.
- Google now cards and suggestions. You ask Siri something when needed, Now does that, suggests, reminds without need having to ask.
