If Apple has the choice between a 35 year old who is ok with buying music and videos through his phone (and spending more for the phone in the first place), vs. an 18 year who will download everything and transfer to his phone, it will pick the latter every single day. If you don't see that as a valid and profitable business plan, I can't help you.
