One way or another things in the energy industry are going to be vastly different in 20-30 years. It'll be Gen Y and Gen X that's going to be making the decisions and these kids job prospects will be at the whim of what we do.
Like I said earlier if Fusion power comes online, everything will be turned on it's head. If Climate Change starts having a tangible impact that will also change a lot of what we do. Transportation will be vastly different, Brick and Mortor stores and retail in general will be massively changed. I don't really know if a generation has ever had to go through this much change when they enter the workforce. Not since the globalization of the world economy at least.
