Doesn't a slingbox totally kill you for upload bandwidth? Those of us in Calgary will have Shaw cutting off service for uploading too much.

BTW, you don't need to pay for one of these. You can buy a $90 TV Tuner card to install in your existing PC and some of them include software that streams TV over the internet as well.

I use it to watch games on my laptop because I just connect to my home computer which acts as a server and I can change the channel remotely as well.

Typically though, I only do it within my own home network otherwise, Shaw would be calling me as well.
