For people who have been submitting their applications for professional status recently, whats your experience on wait times? I'm going to be submitting mine next month but I've heard they're backed up and it's up to a 6 month wait. I get a raise once I show my employer I am a P.Eng so I'd like it sooner than later. Has anyone submitted their application before having the full 4 years experience (to get your application in the queue earlier)?

I submitted my application in may. Got all my references and such mid July, and been in the queue for 2 months. I tried doing it before the 4 years experience and my case manager refused to even entertain the thought. I might have don't something wrong though because I have heard of lots of people applying beforehand.
