That's a weird way to evaluate the teams.

Top six is probably a wash. Flames might have slight edge, but 5 of the six Oilers are legit NHLer's and Eberle is the best player by a mile.

Flames bottom six looks a lot better.

Oilers D has 3 legit top 4 NHL defencemen, another guy who played in the NHL last season and two guys that played well in the AHL.

Flames D has two top four D men, one NHLer, and 3 guys that have never played any pro hockey.

Edge to Oilers on D.

Edge to Oilers in net as well.
