If someone plays at say an average of 5 games a day (which is probably high), then one could only get into an arena game once a month, and then you still have to win to benefit from it.

There are other ways to get gold, but achievements are a one time thing I assume.

I think the dailies + arena combo will be more than enough for casual play.

With daily quests, you should be able to earn enough to do one arena match every 3-4 days. Even if you end up with a quest for a class you don't play, it's usually only 2 wins, so not that bad. Plus your daily quests stack up to 3, so if you are having a rough go of one you can put it off for a little while

The arena costs 150g, but as far as I can tell, you are guaranteed one pack from it + your 4 other rewards based on your record. So, if you like arena and cracking packs, you should get your fill quite often. Even if you go 0-3 in the arena, you still get a pack + some random gold and/or dust. If you only like arena, you might struggle a bit to break even gold wise since packs don't really mean much to you. If you just like constructed, you'll get a pack every 2-3 days!

I'd say that's pretty decent for casual play, which I think is what F2P is intended for.

What the F2P model won't get you is really solid decks quickly, which might be necessary to do well in tournaments... assuming that there are tournaments!

The 5g/5 wins reward does kind of suck though. I'd rather see more quests that you can choose from after you do your daily. Possibly for smaller rewards or put a limit on the number of quests you can do.
