The Oilers will be dressing 4 NHL defensemen, likely 3,4,7 and 8. Though Larsen played in the 7 hole in Dallas last year. The other 2 are both cabale AHL defensemen. Are the flames dressing thier top 6? No.
I don't know the lines, but the Flames first line won't put up the points the Oilers second line will, assuming its Perron, Eberle and Gagner.The Oilers 4th line you speak of would be Gordon, Jones and Eager. Gordon is slotted as our 3C and Jones and Eager are question marks but both can play in the NHL.
Unless the Flames prospects are mostly NHL ready, which I doubt - I don't see how this doesn't seem like a pretty even match-up.

As laughable as having Glencross- Stajan- Stempniak as a first line might be, they will still put up points. Stempniak tied for team lead in points. Glencross is a 30 goal scorer. Sadly this was our best line last year, and it was not even close.
