I agree with this. If an individual is prone to overeating, then the first thing they need to recognize is they aren't actually hungry, and don't need the extra food.

I'm currently struggling with this aspect, and I need to rekindle the will power necessary to lessen my caloric intake to a level that is more complimentary to my lifestyle.

I also think it is important to eat foods you enjoy, rather than suffer through "kale and sprouts" - unless of course you love those. Just consume them in moderation, and maybe try cooking more healthful versions. Love hamburgers? Great. Instead of hitting McDonald's, grill one up at home. Use an alternative protein, or try an open face burger. There are countless ways to "healthify" a comfort food so that it's still delicious, but a lot healthier.

A lot of great advice. Not everything works for everyone, but it's great to hear what's out there.
