I have apps that work well with streaming music and video through my house.

Could I switch over to android and find devices and apps to do all of these, of course I could, but it's not worth the hassle to me.
Same. 14 Apple devices all working seamlessly together - love it.

And before someone starts with the sheep and fanboi comments.....
- when I bought my iPods there was no credible alternative, there was no alternative music store, they were the best hands down
- all my 8000 songs loaded into iTunes? Hell yeah!
- Airport express x 3? My music collection throughout my house? Hell yeah!
- switching to Mac was my best computing choice, no regrets at any cost
- iPhone 4? Best phone on the market at the time
- iPad 2's? Only credible tablets on the market at the time
- Apple TV an awesome product at the time and still
- iPhone 4s? Still a top phone a the time and fit my ecosystem (and it was a gift )

I understand that today there might be better options now in each of these categories (debatable) and that one might be able to cobble together a complete infrastructure like this and it would cost less. That's pretty much irrelevant to me and I have no regrets.

Will I buy a 5S? No, because I'm still paying off my 4S and it works just fine. And I get major new features every year to keep it fresh. Pretty much guaranteed I will buy a 6 sight unseen though and be thoroughly happy. I don't worry about the price because the alternative of tearing down my ecosystem, buying new apps, etc. is astronomical. Besides, I post on CP so I can afford it
