Roads like Stoney trail and Anthony Henday around Edmonton are ridiculous. Nice divided 2 or 3 lane FREEways with no red lights or stops of any kind and they are 100km max. I forget what Stoney is but AH is 100. and there is speed traps all the time. They should get rid of the speed limit all together on roads like that. 100 is beyond stupid.
I was driving home from golf tonight and driving on a divided hiway with a 80 km speed limit and everyone is doing 100 - 110. Just stupid. There is no pedestrians, no houses, no crosswalks, nothing.
I'm in favor of getting rid of speed limits all together.
