70 = 110 kph
65 = 105 kph

This is fine for highway 2 south of the city, for example. Or highway 4 from Lethbridge to the border, which must have the lowest traffic volume of any divided highway in the province. Deerfoot is so many tens of thousands of vehicles over its design limit that Marine Drive logic doesn't really apply to it.
