I would consider it yes. I'm not going to dump on those guys because I think they will be very good players for us, but they are still unknown. It remains to be seen whether or not either of them will translate to the NHL as well as we hope. Petro is already an elite defender and hasn't even hit his prime.
Probably not a good trade for a team in the position that we are in, and I am more driving this just for discussions sake, but people on here have already flip flopped on the Kessel trade in that it was completely lambasted when we first heard of it. Now everyone is "well we'll see if Seguin can develop into that player" now 3 years into his pro career. And Hamilton may end up being decent, but he was outplayed by an undersized, undrafted prospect last year. And Petro helps a team infinitely more than a player like Kessel.
