Completely agreed. They dropped the ball on the stand alone pricing for the "cheap" version of the iphone. It's not competitive at all.
Even the 5S is ridiculously over priced without a contract for what it offers. I don't see how anyone can justify paying those prices...
Glad I didn't wait around for this announcement to upgrade my IP4. Quite happy with my Samsung GS4.
