As a happy Nexus 4 owner... Well spoken.
And I don't disagree with MMF either; brand loyalty is stupid. If Sony or Microsoft make a better game station, buy that one. Don't stick with either because 'I'm a microsoft guy' or whatever. I had a friend growing up who would only watch scripted TV on FOX. Why? No goddamn idea. I just know it was a stupid waste of time.
iOS is a great product. Android is a great product. They're phones. I imagine every three or four years, most people will change platforms if the general consensus about them seems to be positive. This goes both ways; some people may get tired of Android and want a more rigid experience like the iPhone where you plug it in and everything just syncs. Some people might want a bigger screen or the HTC One's speakers. Personally, until Apple comes out with their own version of Swype typing, I don't see how I can abandon the Nexus now. Even then, it'll be tough to justify an extra 300-500 bucks to buy an unlocked iPhone vs whatever Nexus happens to be out. #### contracts.
