With cheaper smartphones like the Nexus 4 among others why would someone prefer the 5C?
To me I'm thinking that everyone that will have a 5C will have a device that shouts "I'm sort of cheap but not really". Its an expensive cheap thing if that makes any sense.

Right now, Apple sells 3 models of phones. The 5, the 4 and the 4s.
They want a phone that can be sold cheaply, ie $99 on contract, but more quickly phase out the old resolutions of the 4/4s.
I don't think it is cheap enough though. I was expecting in the $400-$450 range, which would make it free on contract.
