It is a fantasy draft/hockey pool.
We typically pick 10-15 players each (no goalies), total goals and assists wins. Usually we discount lowest scorer as a mulligan against injuries. Draft is normally done in "snake" order, first to last, then last to first (order "randomly" determined by Aeneas's pub friends). Entry fee around $25.
Peanuts are thrown at those traitorous enough to pick Oilers and Canucks.
Traditionally we do this at Pete's Peanut Pub in SW Calgary. We are checking interest before posting final time and location.
This annual pool has existed in one form another since our high school days in the early 1980s.
