Just wait, when they come out and destroy it even worse and suddenly there is a series of 6-8 inch holes in your alley.
Actually, you could skip the waiting until Sept 9 and just cross the street and look at the entrance to my alley. Everything was fine until the grader showed up, ended up destroying some guys parking pad and creating a huge ridge down the center. We had to call the city to come back and fix it, and we ended up with these holes.
We are seriously considering getting the petition going to get ours paved next year.
