I grew up with a guy that made some really, really bad tattoo and piercing choices, and he hates his life to no extent because he basically has boxed himself into a life of manual labour until the end of his time. People who mutilate themselves with dumbass tribal designs don't think it matters, when you actually are of a professional woking age, it makes all the difference in the world.
I can see getting something that can be covered, each to their own. But you better really, REALLY, like drywalling if you go past the neck line, or go below the wrist. Such a stupid reason to throw away future opportunity over.
