I mean, you do get the basic concept of a shoulder patch right?
You're aware?
You get that just tossing another flaming C on the shoulders is about as grade-school of an idea as you can have?
Why don't you present an idea, instead of trashing the idea of incorporating a FIREFIGHTERS reference into the CALGARY FLAMES jersey. After all, it's not like the horse head is any worse than a CFH logo. I'm not saying it's the greatest idea ever heard, but how about you throw in some sort of constructive criticism instead of "I DON'T LIKE PATCHES THAT MEAN STUFF"
Based on your logic:
Anaheim, Boston, Calgary, Carolina, Chicago, Colorado, Columbus, Dallas, Florida, Los Angeles, Nashville, NYI, Ottawa, Phoenix, San Jose, Tampa Bay, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington, and Winnipeg all have jerseys that look like scout uniforms.
Way to go!

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. You sound very unhappy.
Anyways, the Flames have a logo that ties into the name, the big C that's on fire. The Canucks have the Johnny Canuck logo because they are the Canucks. The Ducks, Jets, Bruins and everything else has logos that represents their team, not outside organizations and things that relate to the same thing they happen to be named after. There are no Duck Dynasty patches, no Canadian Airforce patches and there is no Bear Preservation patches.
Put a torch, or a dragon or something that generates fire (I'm not saying I want that on our jerseys) not a patch the commemorates the Fire Department.
Should we have a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame patch for the Blue Jackets or a United States Department of Defense Patch for the Capitals? No. How about a music note or a pentagon? Maybe.
My point is that yes, a telescope patch for the Stars wouldn't be a terrible idea but a patch that commemorates and says "the Texas Observatory?" Terrible.
