[Northendzone]

So today the family and I are walking down Banff Av enjoying the day, we stop to get some water and my son (11), is fooling around with the lid of bottle partially on and he squeezes the bottle in his mouth and shoots the lid down his throat. He starts gagging and immediately I figure out what he has done, and try to Hiemlech him, after some more gagging and vomiting, the lid finally shoots out.

I have to admit, that the whole thing was surreal, as people on the street stopped to watch, and a lot of things flashed thru my head. Afterwards he told me that he saw something on the Internet where somebody suggested this was a good way to drink water.


I feel like I aged about 7 years today. I hope my son learned a valuable lesson about listening to crap on the net, and I also hope that he listens to me a little more when I say that something he is doing is not safe.
