Argonauts General Manager Jim Barker was on TSN 1050 Radio on Wednesday morning (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN) and was asked by host Mike Richards about the status of the Argos’ man under centre. “Nothing popped out, there was no dislocated shoulder, nothing with his collarbone, it is strictly (a muscle issue) in the back of his rotator cuff,” the Argonauts GM said candidly.
Barker also reiterated what Coach Milanovich said after the game which was that there was an attempt made to see if Ray could return to the game on Friday night.
“He went down and threw in the tunnel and Scott thought it was best to not do anything.”
Though he would not rule out a return for Ray in week 10 against Montreal, Barker was unable to provide a timetable for Ray’s return simply commenting, “…if I knew when he’d be back I’d tell you.”
The one advantage for the Double Blue is the extended break between games. With no game until Tuesday, the team has a full five days off before beginning practice in preparation for the Alouettes.

And who doesn't love Edmonton's screw ups? I'm not going to post the whole article but I'll do a brief summary as to what happened with Tavoy Moore, they (Edmonton) had Moore, they loved this kid said he was going to be a star, and Reed said he reminded him of one of Pinball Clemons. He got hurt in the first preseason game against Saskatchewan, Edmonton apparently told teams he had torn ACL and believed he had one. The kid knew right away it was an MCL, in the process they decided to be cheap and not put him on the nine game injured list which would have cost them about $25.000, not against the cap either! But if they (Edmonton) told the other teams Moore had a torn ACL instead of an MCL injury in order to have Moore to themselves upon re-signing of him, that's disgusting. Exaggerating or making up an injury to scare other teams off hurts the player and his career. I might have posted this once before but memory is horrible. This part of the article had me laughing:

The way Moore tells it, he walked out of Edmonton GM Ed Hervey’s office after being told he was being released and right into a limo sent by the Ticats that took him to the airport and flew him directly to Hamilton.
