He can't do that. Murray has to win just to defend his points. He cant actually move up. Even if Murray won and Djokovic lost in the second round, the Serbian would still be over 1000 points up on Murray. Murray can't even pass Nadal this week.
Also, bad week for the ATP website to run a feature story on how Vasek Pospisil is "ready to rise up the Emirates ATP Rankings."
