I lost about 80 pounds over the course of a few years by making the same kinds of changes you have. The most important thing is that you end up with a new, enjoyable, and sustainable way of living.....I haven't gained back the weight and neither will you.
Key thing to remember.....people typically gain weight slowly (1 or 2 pounds per month) over a long period of time. It's only natural that it comes off the same way!

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. There are some days when I do get really frustrated and I have the whole "That's it, that's all I've lost over the last couple of weeks" rage moments.
It hasn't been super tough as I like rice and I do like Chicken and I do like fish. But sitting in front of the tube and seeing a Wendy's commercial is like Pavlov ringing the bell. And I used to enjoy going over to DQ for a blizzard once and a while, or stop at Mac's for a Slushy on the way home from work.
So I'm a long way from being mentally stabilized, but its getting there.
