A little better tonight, but not by much. Still a very disappointing end to the series. They should have called the last two episodes Awkward Dinner Conversations Parts 1 & 2.

Oh but a bunch of crap tonight was really poorly written. Zach Hamilton leaving evidence behind under the desk was plain idiotic. Furthermore the dialogue between Dexter and Vogel was painful. The whole scene with the US Marshall and Harrison did not need to be spelled out like that way. Then finally Dexter being "made" by Saxon was just the worst. How smart can Dexter be when he's willing to stand outside the restaurant, in a bright blue shirt in the morning (for hours on end)? Of course Saxon was going to notice you dummy. Just horrific writing all season long; they're just mailing it in this season. Only the performances are keeping the show together at this point.
