Petition to Warner Brothers: Remove Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the Superman/Batman movie.

His acting skill is not even close to being believable as Bruce Wayne and he won't do the role justice. He's not built, nor is he intimidating enough for the role of Batman. His portrayal of Daredevil was atrocious and he's not remotely close to an action star. Please find someone else.

I would like to add that this petition was not meant in any way to harm Ben Affleck or his career. I respect Affleck's work, I just feel he is inappropriate for the role.

I would also like to denounce any petitions on any other sites bearing this title. I am not/nor was I ever affiliated with them. It came to my attention that someone used my title on whitehouse.gov and I do not support that. The U.S. government has more pressing matters to deal with such as the chemical warfare being used in Syria, rather than who was cast as Batman. This is a neutral site which is why I chose it for fans to voice their opinions.

Batman is an important cultural icon, he represents the very best of us and our ability to overcome our own personal failings to rise above to a cause of justice and rightness. Batman is the equivalent of a mondern day myth, lore which has grown and resonated with fans for generation. Thus, we feel that choosing the right person to represent this figure should carry some weight, and while Mister Affleck may awash with many fine qualities, those which embody Bruce Wayne/Batman are not among them. Please make a more fitting selection for the millions of fans who wish to see their hero given the representation he deserves.

Today I woke up to a nightmare rather than from one. My favorite character of all time and most other people's favorite as well, DESTROYED by the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman. My hands can barely type those words. WHY, HOW, WHAT did we do to deserve this. What an epic fail on the part of Warner Brothers. It is a sad day for all who love this character. Who would have thought that in the end it wasn't the Joker or two face or even Ra's al Ghul that took down the Batman but a few misguided executives at Warner Brothers. I WILL NOT BE SEEING THIS MOVIE, NOR WILL I PURCHASE THE MERCHANDISE. You have lost a life long fan.
