We often equate struggling up a mountain side to some of the struggles and hurdles that we have faced in life and in health. Lorraine is going on her sixth year of being cancer free after battling stage 3 colon cancer and has to carry with her the scars and damage that cancer forced upon her. I continue to struggle with an anti – inflammatory condition that leaves joints aching and reeling in pain sometimes before or after a hike. None of which matters to us when we are working on achieving our goal which is hike, learn and explore the BC Mountains.

We are not in any rush to get up the mountain or cross a trail we just want to be able to continue to do what we love to do. To Hike! We are both blessed to be able to work in the natural health industry and therefore have at our disposal an arsenal of options for helping us keep our health problems at arm’s length. We were excited at the notion that Genuine health was going to launch a pre and post sports line. As these two options have been key in enabling us to hike another trail or mountain each and every week
