Default GAME 7 : STAMPEDERS at BC Lions

Calgary won the first meeting against the BC Lions this season 44-32 on Week 1.
Calgary is now 5-1 while BC is 4-2. Lions have so much motivations to try to beat the Stamps tonight after losing in the West Final last season and losing the first game this season.

OFFENSE :

QB Kevin Glenn will be the starting QB tonight. He had a great game against the Riders last week completing 21 passes on 28 tries for 218 yards and throwing 1 TD to Nik Lewis. Speaking of Lewis, his late TD last game came at the right time when the Riders are closing in. Lewis caught 3 consecutive passes scoring TD on that drive and ended up with 7 for 96 yards and 1 TD. Lewis is 8th in CFL in receiving with 31 catches for 381 yards and 3 TDs.

RB Jon Cornish had a monster game against the Riders last week rushing for 3 TD in the first half then scoring another late in the game. He was unstoppable ending with 16 carries for 175 yards for 4 TDs earning him with Outstanding and Canadian Player of the Week awards. Cornish also torched the BC Lions on Week 1 with 24 carries for 172 yards and 2 TDs.

OG Dmitri Tsoumpas will not play tonight due to concussion and will be replaced by J.Michael Deane. Stamps will definitely Tsoumpas but the coaching staff are confident that Deane will do the job.

DEFENSE :

DT Demonte Bolden had a great late in the game last week versus the Riders. He sacked Darian Durant twice. Bolden did not play against BC on Week 1.
DE Charleston Hughes dominated the first game vs BC on Week 1 sacking Travis Lulay 3 times. He also had 4 tackles that game. Last week after coming back from his injury had 3 tackles, 1 QB sack and 1 forced fumble last week against the Riders.
Jonathan Hefney draws in the lineup against BC taking Demetrice Morley's Free Safety spot. Morley will be a healthy scratch.

SPECIAL TEAM :

K Rene Paredes will try to extend his CFL record for consecutive field goals in the regular seaon. His record is now sitting at 36 heading into tonight's game.

GO STAMPS GO!!!!

GAME TIME : 7:00pm MDT at BC Place
