Things are moving to the cloud, movies, music, photos etc etc. Over the past 6 months I've really upped my data usage. I prefer to stream podcasts instead of downloading them. I'll stream music too but I'm not a heavy music listener on my phone. Usually if I get a new album I'll actually put it on my phone because I'll be listening to it more frequently.

I'm amazed at what these companies pay for 2GB/month for.

If you're a Shaw internet user sign up for the Wifi Go program. Shaw has 100's of Wifi spots around the city and it can really help with a data plan if you a limited amount per month.
